RIVERDALE — The body of a man was found on the Riverdale Parkway on Saturday afternoon.
A bicyclist discovered the body while riding on the Riverdale Parkway just before 3 p.m., according to Riverdale Police Lt. Casey Warren. The deceased man is described as a 59-year-old man and is known to be a transient in the area, according to police.
The man has been identified but police are not releasing the name until his family has been notified.
According to police, the case was first being investigated as a suspicious death due to the location where the man was found. After completing the initial investigation, no cause of death was discovered and police say it appears the death may be of natural causes.
